Sixteen Riders Selected for AQHA Collegiate Horsemanship Challenge

Sixteen collegiate equestrian riders have been chosen to participate in the 2016 American Quarter Horse Association Collegiate Horsemanship Challenge November 13-14 as part of the Lucas Oil AQHA World Championship Show in Oklahoma City.

The preliminaries will take place on November 13, with the finals on November 14.

The student-athlete riders representing National Collegiate Equestrian Association institutions selected for the AQHA Collegiate Horsemanship Challenge are as follows:

  • Megan McMullen, Texas Christian University
  • Taylor Dixon, Fresno State University
  • Libby Collins, Oklahoma State Universty
  • Kelsey Swainston, South Dakota State University
  • Avery Ellis, Texas A&M University
  • Lauren Diaz, Auburn Universty
  • Abigail Buckwalter, Delaware State University
  • Morgan Matzdorff, New Mexico State University

The following collegiate riders representing Intercollegiate Horse Show Association institutions in the AQHA Collegiate Horsemanship Challenge are as follows:

  • Olivia Turner, North Carolina State University
  • Holly Phillips, University of Findlay
  • Dylan Dombrowski, Cazenovia College
  • Michelle McDowell, Grand Valley State University
