Congress Classroom Offers Youth Chance to Keep Up with School
Congress is an exciting time, and while it’s fun for youth to be out of school for a week or two, it can be hard to keep or catch up with schoolwork. Enter: The Congress Classroom. Hosted by the Ohio Quarter Horse Foundation, the Congress Classroom allows students a dedicated space to concentrate and study away from the hustle and bustle of the show.
Amenities including wifi, printer, and tables make it the perfect work or study space, and there will even be prizes and giveaways for youth who come to study (a sign-up sheet will be included.) The Classroom will be open October 18-26th with varying hours and located in the West End of the Congress Hall Annex.
“The Congess Classroom is available to all students to have a quiet place for focused study away from the hustle and bustle of Congress,” explains Cathy Martz, President of OQHF. “Youth and student scholarships are an important focus of the Ohio Quarter Horse Foundation. We thank ADM for generously sponsoring the Classroom and helping our students stay sharp in school while showing.”
