Youth Exhibitors Have Chance to Win $1,000 Scholarship during HQHA’s June Show
Is your Youth (or young Amateur) looking for scholarships? Be sure to be in Perry, Georgia June 27-29 for the Peach Country Circuit! The Horseman’s Quarter Horse Association (HQHA) is hosting a great show, with a flat fee of $250 for four judges. Friday night’s classes begin at 6:30 featuring Ranch Horse Pleasure, Western Riding, Reining and Timed Events. Circuit awards will be given out for each class, and high point awards.
There will also be the annual Team Tournament competition where teams of four, consisting of two youth and two Amateur exhibitors, compete for various prizes. Not to mention Youth 14-18 and Amateur (under 25 with a valid student ID) exhibitors will be entered for a drawing for a $1,000 scholarship!
All of this will be held in the air conditioned Sutherland Arena at the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry. It’s a great show for exhibitors to hit right before the Georgia Quarter Horse Association’s Stars & Stripes and Big A Circuit- it’s less than two hours south of Conyers, GA!
