We’re Growing and Looking for a Show Horse Today Salesperson

We are a small, family-owned company that has experienced significant growth over the past few years.  With over 1 million monthly page views, 270,000 Facebook Fans, 50,000 forum members, and a digital magazine that won First Place, Equine-Related Digital Edition at the AHP Awards Ceremony this past June, our websites, digital magazine and social media outlets have experienced tremendous reach.  This growth has created an opportunity to bring on an experienced part-time or full-time sales professional to sell advertising and marketing plans across PleasureHorse.com, Show Horse Today digital magazine and the rest of our sites, special publications and social media outlets.
 
Duties include actively developing new relationships and new equine advertising business from your own home office.  The ideal candidate will have an equine background, strong sales and marketing experience, and will have demonstrated the ability to get results with professionalism and integrity.
 
Desired Skills and Experience:
–        At least 3 years of successful sales or marketing experience
–        An intimate knowledge, experience and background with horses, the equine industry, and/or showing or competing
–        A strong working knowledge and comfort with online digital, social and mobile media
–        Experience with all aspects of the sales cycle, including qualifying, prospecting, establishing/closing new advertising or professional service agreements, and building new business
 
Although we are based in Wisconsin, this position can be based anywhere…preferably within or close to a major equine community.  Most of the work will be done from your home office, with only occasional travel required.  We are open to flexible work arrangements for the right candidate.
