Ride Now Tour
AQHA Ride Now Tour debuts at Kentucky Tractor Supply Co. locations.
America’s Horse, April 25, 2012 – The Ride Now Tour, an interactive, casual roundup of equine experts offering advice and inspiration to horse enthusiasts of all levels kicks off at 6 p.m. on April 25 in Nicholasville, Kentucky, and on April 26 in Frankfort, Kentucky.
The evening events feature a very hands-on presentation about the skills, knowledge and gear people need to “ride now.”
AQHA Professional Horsemen and judges Bennie Sargent of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Casey Devitt of Waddy, Kentucky, will be on hand to discuss some of AQHA’s programs and services, including how to find a trainer, the Horseback Riding Program, showing opportunities and programs for youth. Sargent and Devitt will also present information about the American Quarter Horse Foundation and its role in protecting and enhancing the well-being of all horses.
In addition to a wealth of knowledge, attendees will have a chance to win prizes from Ride Now Tour sponsors Weaver Leather; WeatherBeeta; W.F. Young Inc., makers of Absorbine; Purina Mills; and Red Brand Fencing.
There will also be the latest in trail riding essentials, helmet safety, the hunt for the right instructor, horse nutrition, colic prevention, deworming, lameness, buying a tractor, fly control, grooming and more. Attendees will be able to try the latest products from the horse industry’s leading manufacturers.
“Tractor Supply is pleased to bring the first of the Ride Now Tours to two of our stores in Kentucky, where the equine business is core to who we are. The Ride Now Tour allows us to provide a fun, interactive and informative experience for all who share our love of horses,” said Mary Lawley, regional vice president of Tractor Supply Co.
The Ride Now Tour heads west later this season, stopping next at the grand opening of Colorado’s first Tractor Supply Co. store in July.
