Whether your youngsters are old cowhands or true city slickers, Family Fun Day is for all kinds of cowpokes. So dust off your western duds and join us in Barn 3 at State Fair Park for free arts and crafts, games and Wild West-themed activities. Stick around and be a part of the grand finale, the first-ever mop pony parade!
Little buckaroos will get to kick off Battle in the Saddle’s final night of competition in State Fair Arena with a mop pony grand entry. Admission to Battle in the Saddle is free, so bring out the whole family to see your cowpokes rustle up cheers and applause as they spur their mops through Oklahoma City’s most famous arena.
After the parade, families can stay to watch real horses during the heart-pounding finals of cowboy mounted shooting and barrel racing.
Mop pony parade registration starts at 5:45 p.m. and is first-come, first-served. Parade is limited to the first 75 kids, ages 5 and up only. Other activities are for all ages.
