Dana Hokana Quarter Horses – Internship Available

Are you looking to expand your experience with horses and learn from one of the best trainers/clinicians around?  Well, here’s an exciting opportunity for you!

Dana Hokana Quarter Horses is seeking an intern to become an additional member to their team. Duties may include, traveling to shows, barn duties (such as – feeding daily supplement, grooming, bathing, lunging, saddling horses, etc) and working with young horses.

Ideal candidate would have experience working with young horses and starting colts. Show experience is not required, but soft hands, willingness to learn and an honest down to Earth personality are required. This position is perfect for someone with lots of experience that is looking to refine their skills and learn more about the Western Pleasure world. MANY of today’s top trainers started as interns at Dana’s ranch.

Located in beautiful Temecula, California the great weather and picturesque location are just the icing on the cake for the selected applicant. Being part of a team dedicated to bettering the horse and themselves is the real prize.
