DeGraff Stables World Class Stallion Station Moves to Ohio
DeGraff Stables is excited announce their move to their newly remodeled facility in Port Clinton, Ohio. The state-of-the-art facility offers an expanded lab, offices, and pastures and gearing up for a great 2017 breeding season. Much of the Kentucky staff will be joining DeGraff in Ohio at the renovated facility, and they are currently in the process of obtaining their USDA re-certification for frozen semen storage and collection facility.
“The decision to move back to our newly expanded Ohio facility is about family and affords me the opportunity to be closer to our home and my parents,” explains DeGraff. “So, we return to Ohio with much excitement with our horses and look forward to building new relationships and revisiting with old friends. The local community has been very supportive and the locals have expressed excitement and enthusiasm over the return of our mares and foals to be once again seen grazing in our front pastures on Catawba Island. The mares and foals have always been quite the attraction for the locals and the tourists that travel to the Erie Islands each year.”
DeGraff Stables is very excited to renew friendships with Ohio Quarter Horse, Paint, and Pinto Affiliates, and looks forward to working with them. Get of DeGraff Stables’ stallions will be eligible for numerous futurities in the state.
“It’s our priority to provide a service with value for the mare owners that select our stallions for breeding, as this is paramount in our minds. Our philosophy is that excellent conception rates and first cycle pregnancies benefit both stallion and mare owners. Keeping costs down for mare owners helps their pocket book and correspondingly causes the stallion to be more competitive against other stallions when comparing costs to breed. Additionally, It’s our goal to help mare owners achieve success in having foals born early in the year for greater success in showing futurities.”
