AQHA Crowns the 2016 Nutrena Senior Athletes

Dean York of Symsonia, Kentucky, and Spanish Dawns Dude were named the 2016 Nutrena Senior Athletes of the Show at AQHA Select World Championship Show, presented by Adequan® (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan). AQHA presented the award to York on August 26 at the Tri-State Fairgrounds in Amarillo. 

Spanish Dawns Dude is a 1993 chestnut gelding by Spanish Desperado and out of Texijuanas Dawn by Samson T Dude. The pair showed in team penning and ranch sorting. York and Spanish Dawns Dude placed eighth in ranch sorting, along with his wife, Sharron, who showed Suerte Lena.
