AQHA stallion, Investor Cluso, Laid To Rest at 29
In what has been a sorrowful month in both the AQHA and APHA industries, Pleasurehorse.com sends condolences to Beverly Moore on the passing of 1987 stallion, Investor Cluso.
In a statement on Facebook, Moore said, “It is with a heavy heart that I report that earlier today, my beautiful stallion was humanely laid to rest due to complications from old age. RIP Invester Cluso, 1987 AQHA stallion (The Investor X The Country Girl) 1987-2016. You will be missed by many, but will live on in your wonderful sons and daughters and in my heart forever.”
Cluso was a Superior Western Pleasure stallion and sired numerous Superior earners. Our thoughts are with Moore and everyone who loved this wonderful stallion.
Thank you for your condolences. I am just seeing this now while putting in a search for any of his sons that are still standing at stud to breed to my remaining broodmares. The loss of this wonderful stallion still haunts me, but I do have two of his beautiful sons as well as two of his daughters which will be wonderful producers as he was a great broodmare sire. Hopefully, I will be able to get his coming 3-yr-old palomino son to the show ring in the near future. His other son is just a coming yearling. Both were conceived by live cover when he was 28 yr. old! I believe he saved the best for last. Makes me happy but also very sad.
