Region Eight Championships Set for June 15-19

AQHA Region 8 exhibitors are preparing for the 2016 Merial AQHA Region Eight Championships, which is approaching quickly. The show, slated for June 15-19 at the Amarillo National Center in Amarillo, provides American Quarter Horse enthusiasts a chance to test their horse-showing skills.

This regional championships features four days packed with a variety of classes, starting with reining at 7:30 a.m. on June 15 in the Amarillo National Center at the Tri-State Fairgrounds. “These shows are the best way for exhibitors to get their feet wet in AQHA championship shows,” said Charlie Hemphill, AQHA director of shows and new events. “The shows also give Level 1 exhibitors the opportunity to qualify for the AQHA Level 1 Championships in 2017.”
