Lexus Made Lady and Made U Want Me Win Big on Day 2 of Tom Powers

Day two at the Tom Powers Triple Challenge saw the first full day of futurity classes in Berrien Springs.  Starting the morning off with several hunter under saddle maturity and three year-old classes, Elizabeth Baker guided HRZ Elegant and Blue, owned by Olivia Hoecker to win the Maturity Hunter Under Saddle $2500 Limited Horse class.  Sketchie Details and Nicole Kuklinski snagged both the Limited Division Maturity Non Pro HUS Limited Rider and Maturity Non Pro Hunter Under Saddle wins.  Erin Shapiro Boatwright and Iron Out My Assets also walked out on top in the 3 Year Old Non Pro Hunter Under Saddle after placing first under three out of four judges.

When the afternoon western pleasure futurities took center stage, several horses found their names being called numerous times.  First, Lexus Made Lady and Cody Parrish nearly swept the 3 Year Old $2500 Limited Horse Western Pleasure by placing first under three of the four judges to sew up the win for owner Anchored Soul LLC.   A few classes later, with Abi Tuiasosopo in the saddle, Lexus Made Lady loped her way to wins across the board and the 3 Year Old Limited Non Pro Western Pleasure champion.

Made U Want Me and Aubrey Alderman also heard their names called several times throughout the afternoon.  After winning the Maturity Limited Non Pro Western Pleasure class, the team showed no signs of slowing down and made it a sweep in the Maturity Limited Non Pro Western Pleasure class.  Made U Want Me is sired by Machine Made who’s offspring have seen quite a bit of success throughout the show.
