The Southern Ohio Quarter Horse Association held their Madness show April 6-10 at Roberts Arena in Wilmington, Ohio. The show ended with more 12,600 total entries! Everything about the show made us #AQHAProud. The classes averaged more than 40 entries, a live auction raised more than $20,000 to help with medical expenses for Allie Paul, there were simple random acts of kindness, the Mark Harrell Horse Show Management team made sure the show ran smoothly, and it was so fun to see fellow AQHA exhibitors from around the country. Despite a little unexpected snow, construction and lots of trailers, people were happy to be showing and rolled with it all. SOQHA made sure to make it enjoyable for the exhibitors with special futurity events, dinners every night, donuts and even our personal favorites, Sweet Nays Horse Treats from the Sweet Shop!

Congrats go to Casey Willis, who won the Equine Chronicle Novice Horse Western Pleasure title on KM Weknowsheshot from Masterson Farms, and to Bret Parrish, who grabbed the champion title in the Coughlin Maiden Western Pleasure class aboard This Girlz On Fire, owned by K&L Quarter Horses. They each received a check for $15,000, which made our dad ask how long it would be before we could be open exhibitors.
