Congratulations to Amy Brosch on Purchase of Hes A Cool Hotrod!
Congratulations to Amy Brosch on her purchase of world champion and multiple world champion sire, Hes A Cool Hotrod (AQHA/APHA)! He will continue to stay at DeGraff Stables for the 2016 breeding season.
In a statement from Brosch, “Now that I have a chance to sit down, I would like to thank Carrie Nickerson and Seabreeze Pleasure Horses for allowing me to purchase their World Champion and multiple World Champion sire, Hes A Cool Hotrod AQHA/APHA. I know he was not an easy one to let go of, and thank you for entrusting your boy with me and my program.
Hotrod will continue to stand at DeGraff Stables/Liberty Farm Reproduction Center with Robin DeGraff this spring so as not to disturb his routine now that breeding season has began. His fees will remain the same, $1,250 including first collection and shipment, he is enrolled in several futurities including NSBA and Paint Premier Sires. He is a full double registered, unanimous World Champion by Certain Potential out of EBG Prissy Lady, producer of 9 show foals earning appx 1,000 points. He has no Zippo Pine Bar blood and will make a GREAT outcross in an industry that needs to be careful with too much linebreeding. You can’t go wrong with his flawless legs that he stamps on every foal I’ve seen out of all types of mares. He’s got the front leg, the hock, the slow and effortless lope, the jog, the mind, the looks… oh, and did I mention he is full double registered AQHA/APHA? We all feel that this stud is stamping some of the best legs out there, color or not, so the trifecta of legs, color, and mind was a no-brainer, at least for me! They have what it takes to be competitive at the upper tier of AQHA and APHA competition, while having many other venues and classes available to show.
Not only are they strong as longe line and futurity horses, they are also now proving to go on to be great all arounders, with a recent World Champion in JR Western Riding at last year’s APHA World Show. There is a huge market for horses that are pretty on the rail while being strong in the all around now, and a great market for double registered horses, so imagine the combination. I also think he would make a great option for huntseat mares to strengthen the lope and topline on your tall TB and appendix mares, while adding pretty, body, and color!
I’m so excited about this huge step in my breeding program and hope to meet all of the old and new fans of Hotrod. I invite you to check out youtube for videos of his foals, so that you can see what I’m talking about. They are phenomenal, and hot sellers. In the meantime, I’m currently working on putting together a facebook page with all of the information on him in one place. If you have a Hotrod foal, please feel free to send me pictures/video/
