Press Release
Parker, Colorado – The Western Dressage Association® of America has selected a winner of the USEF Youth Sportsmanship Grant provided to WDAA to support participation by High School and Collegiate equestrian groups. The recipient is the Equine Team from Ohio University South. This wonderful group will use the $1500 grant to help defer the costs of shipping horses to Tulsa, Oklahoma to compete at the WDAA World Championship Show on November 6, 7, and 8.
The team has worked all year to raise the necessary funds to participate in this exciting new discipline of Western Dressage. WDAA is grateful to USEF for its generosity and excited to see this special group of collegiate equestrians compete.
As a Recognized National Affiliate of the United States Equestrian Federation, the Western Dressage Association® of America is invited to submit a nominee each year to be considered for the USEF Youth Sportsmanship Award. This year, Connor Farley of West Virginia, is the nominee. WDAA is very proud of this exceptional young man’s accomplishments as a rider as well as his outstanding achievements as a student and his contributions to the equine industry.
