Nutrena East AQHA Level 1 Championships Kicks Off
Exhibitors at the 2015 Nutrena East AQHA Level 1 Championships shined their boots and dusted off their hats for the first day of competition in Lexington, Virginia. The show kicked off with an exhibitor meeting at 7 a.m. in the Work Horse Cafe, and classes began at 8 a.m. in the Anderson Coliseum, with Level 1 youth reining.
A welcome reception sponsored by Hylton Quarter Horses is scheduled at 7 p.m. for all of the exhibitors to mingle and relax after a busy first day. The Nutrena East offers a variety of events and activities for competitors, friends, family and spectators to take part in throughout the show, including free Ride the Pattern clinics taught by AQHA Professional Horsemen. This year’s championships will also feature added Rookie classes, sponsored by B&W Trailer Hitches, and more age divisions for Level 1 competitors.
