Lazy Loper Sires 2 YO Open Western Pleasure Stakes Champions 3 of the Last 4 years
Lazy Loper just keeps adding accolades to his already impressive resume. Already the sire of numerous World and Congress champions and high-point titles, he has sired three of the last four Two Year-Old Open Western Pleasure Stakes champions at the Quarter Horse Congress. In the one year (2013) that he did not sire the winner, a Lazy Loper still placed 3rd in the class (Lope The Line, ridden by Rusty Green).
When asked about his domination as a Western Pleasure sire in the event, Debbi Trubee says, “We think it speaks volumes to how naturally talented and trainable the Lazy’s are.”
Not only are Lazy Lopers staking their claim in the open events, but they are also known for many successes in the amateur and youth classes as well.
Here’s a look back at the last four years going all back to 2012.
2015- Loping In the Knight, ridden by Angie Cannizzaro, owned by Stanley and Susan Scott (CONGRESS CHAMPION)
2014- A Lazy Holiday, ridden by Jay Starnes, owned by Andrea Rowland (CONGRESS CHAMPION)
2013- Lope The Line, ridden by Rusty Green, owned by Adam Joseph Kober (3rd PLACE)
2012- VS Flatline, ridden by Jay Starnes, owned by the Glover Galyean Partnership (CONGRESS CHAMPION)
