Zips Chocolate Chip Passes At 30

ZCC-Trotting-KC-2005-editedThe Pleasurehorse.com family is saddened to learn the passing of Zips Chocolate Chip.  The horse industry has been left with a huge hole, but he made his impact widely known across multiple breeds and disciplines.  He was also the first horse to be inducted into the NSBA Hall of Fame in two divisions, and has left quite a legacy in his offspring and great-offspring.  He’s even been immortalized as a Breyer model.  Pleasurehorse.com extends our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to Ann Myers and everyone who was involved with this once-in-a-lifetime horse.

So Very Sad…My favorite horse of all times. I still have my Breyer of him that sits on the shelf behind my desk. Always wanted a baby of his but just couldn’t afford one. I have been a very loyal fan for 28 of his 30 years. So sorry Ann Myers and thank you for sharing him with us.

I will always remember him winning the Congress under all the judges! It was the first time I had ever seen that happen. I cried I was so happy. He truly was a great one!

I have followed him for years, never having the opportunity to have a son or daughter…but good things come to those that wait. I have been blessed with owning a grandson and he certainly passed on MANY of an amazing trait to my Wyatt. He had a huge impact on several breeds across the board and brought so much to the industry. You were one of the greats…Rest in Peace. ..we love you
