Germany’s Next Topmodel Contestant Visits European Championships
Press Release
Mandy Graff stunned the jury of the TV show Germany’s Next Topmodel and made it to the top five. Now, she is visiting the European Championship of American Quarter Horses for the first time. Her boyfriend, Win Baumert, competed in the Novice Amateur Reining with his Quarter Horse mare More Malice. Win is the president of the QHAL, the Luxembourg Quarter Horse Association. Besides his mare, Mandy brought her own gelding for schooling.
The model has been riding since she was a little girl. Riding jumpers at first, she switched from English to western 15 years ago. She loves being at shows.
“You meet lots of new people and get to know them personally. My boyfriend also appreciates the relaxed atmosphere”, she says.
Mandy Graff is about to graduate from university (Bachelor in philosophy and German philology) which means that time’s limited for modeling jobs.
“I don’t do a lot of jobs anymore. I’d rather stay home with my boyfriend, the dogs, and my horses.”
Next year, she plans on starting her own showing career with her gelding.
The European Championship of American Quarter Horses will take place from Friday, 7th August until Sunday, 16th August, 2015 in the Ostbayernhalle Kreuth/Bavaria. Find more information, livestream, interviews and all results on www.ecqh.org.
