Follow the Lifeline Challenge

A performance horse in training for futurity events can experience enduring stress that can impact performance and health. Owners often invest thousands in nutritional supplements, medications and injections just to keep their horses sound.

LIFELINE for Horses wants to show that a high-performing, highly stressed horse on LIFELINE Equine performance supplements can successfully compete at the futurity level, and still remain healthy and sound for next season.

The LIFELINE Challenge is documenting the progress of two 3-year-old American Quarter horses training for and competing in elite reining events during the 2015 season. “Cat” is on LIFELINE Equine Elite daily throughout the challenge, and “Abby is on a typical program of vitamin/mineral supplements, ulcer prevention medication and preventative joint injections.
