Exclusive Paint awards return to the Tulsa Reining Classic
The American Paint Horse Association is bringing the buckle bling back to the 2015 Tulsa Reining Classic, scheduled for August 31–September 6.
The partnership created in 2014 between APHA and the Tulsa Reining Classic features exciting opportunities for reining Paints, Cheryl Cody of the TRC Management Team says.
“We’re so pleased to welcome APHA back to Tulsa this year,” Cheryl said.
APHA will award 11 custom Gist Silversmiths buckles to the high-finishing reining Paint Horses.
Awards will be given in both aged events and ancillary classes. In aged events, the buckles will be awarded to the highest-placing Paint Horses. In the NRHA Non Pro, Rookie Non Pro, Youth and Open classes, the buckles will go to the high-point Paint that competes in both slates of classes.
Paints will have a shot at APHA buckles in the following events:
- Cardinal Ranch Open Derby
- Novice Horse Open Derby
- SmartPak Non Pro Derby
- Novice Horse Non Pro Derby
- Turnabout Farm Non Pro Futurity
- Darling 888 Ranch Developing Horse Open Futurity
- Hollywoodstinseltown Open Futurity
