CNQHS 2 Yr Old Open Western Pleasure Gold Rush Futurity – Sheldon Soderberg Memorial

An outstanding group of 2 yr old pleasure horses jogged into the ring Friday afternoon to compete in the 2 year old open pleasure Gold Rush Futurity class. This class was aptly named the Sheldon Soderberg Memorial Class and was sponsored by Soderberg Quarter Horses. Sheldon was very well respected breeder, trainer and judge. He loved everything about the 2 year old pleasure class and today he would have been proud.

The Gold Rush Futurity Champion was Al Said And Done ridden by Patti Woods and owned by Kelly Olsen.  Sired by Allocate Your Assets this beautiful bay 2 year old had an outstanding front leg and deep hock.  It was a true pleasure to watch.

Reserve Champion went to Wayne Soderberg (Sheldon’s Son) after a beautiful soft ride on Its Finally Summer owned by Karen Goldthorpe.
