PCQHA Summer Celebration Draws Almost 4,000 Entries
Rancho Murieta, Calif.- The Pacific Coast Quarter Horse Association’s Summer Celebration was a huge hit with exhibitors, drawing almost 4,000 entries for the 4-day show. Taking place July 2-5, the show offered 6 judges, new events, great prizes, and much more.
The cooler weather was enjoyed by all and helped boost the number of entries for the show. New events like 4& 5 Year-Old Working Cowhorse Derby (sponsored by Murieta Equestrian Center) received a great response with Smart Shiney Pistol, ridden by Trent Pederson and owned by Hope Miller, taking home the win and the Silverado Silver Buckle and $1,000 in cash.
Other great prizes awarded include Custom Chest/Coolers, tack boxes, directors chairs, tooled leather briefcases, custom gear bags, and Bob Avila silver spurs.
