Saturday Morning at the 2015 Tom Powers

Saturday morning here at the Tom Powers brings cooler temps and a little moisture on the grounds.  The 2 and 3 year old Hunter Under Saddle classes bravely kicked off the day for us! 

Congratulations to Iron I A Legacy, owned by Amy Walls and ridden by Tami Thurston, Champions in the 2YO Hunter Under Saddle.

Saturday the fun continues with maturity and 2 and 3 year old western pleasure.  The afternoon will usher in the Western Pleasure Super Sires 3 year old Non Pro and Ltd Non Pro classes, as well as the much anticipated Triple Challenge Maiden 2YO Sale Stakes Western Pleasure, with its guaranteed purse of $60,000.  The day will be capped off with the Tom Powers Triple Challenge Stakes Sale, following the pig roast to benefit the NSBA Trainers’ Crisis Fund.  Come on down and join the fun!
