2015 Quarter Horse Congress Schedule Released

The schedule for the 49th annual All American Quarter Horse Congress, held October 1-25, 2015, has been set by the Ohio Quarter

New Classes

There are several new classes that have been added to Congress in 2015:
First up will be the *NEW* Equestrians With Disabilities (EWD) classes which will feature-

• EWD Walk/Trot Showmanship – Level 2
• EWD Walk/Trot Showmanship – (Advanced) Level 3
• EWD Walk/Jog Trail Supported – Level 1
• EWD Walk/Jog Trail Independent – Level 2
• EWD Walk/Trot Horsemanship – Independent
• EWD Walk/Trot Western Pleasure – Independent
• EWD Walk/Trot Western Pleasure – Supported

Congress has also added the CRI 3-Open Reining class.

Additionally, the Congress Futurity and Stakes classes (excluding halter) will now be open to the following breeds/registries: American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA), American Paint Horse Association (APHA), Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC), American Buckskin Registry Association (ABRA), International Buckskin Horse Association (IBHA), Palomino Horse Breeders of
America (PHBA) and the Jockey Club.

There has also been Changes to the Congress Master’s Program:

Congress Masters Western Pleasure Futurity
Guaranteed $30,000 to winner
• Ran as a futurity class instead of a slot class with no limit on entries
• Open to AQHA, APHA, ApHA, ABRA, IBHA, PHBA and Jockey Club
• 2 year-old maiden
• 100% of the entry fee is paid back
• $3,500 entry fee

Congress Masters Hunter Under Saddle Futurity
Guaranteed $15,000 to winner
• Ran as a futurity class instead of a slot class with no limit on entries
• Open to AQHA, APHA, ApHA, ABRA, IBHA, PHBA and Jockey Club
• 2 year-old maiden
• 100% of the entry fee is paid back
• $2,500 entry fee

• Saturday, October 24th – Congress 2-Year-Old Masters Western Pleasure and Congress 2-Year-Old Hunter Under Saddle
