Condolences to Cooper Quarter Horses on the Passing of Hall of Fame Mare, Chocolate Zipper
It is with a heavy heart that we send our deepest sympathies and condolences to Clarice Cooper and the rest of the Cooper Quarter Horses family on the passing of World Champion western pleasure mare, Chocolate Zipper. The 1989 mare was by the legendary Zips Chocolate Chip, and after a very successful show career, produced the great mare, Show Diva.
Known to most as “Chloe”, she was inducted into the NSBA Hall of Fame in 2006, and lived with Cooper for 20 years. A powerhouse team in the western pleasure arena in the 90’s, she racked World and Reserve World Championships, in addition to multiple Congress Championships.
“I loved you from the first time I saw you. You gave me so many great memories. It was time and I promised myself I would never let you live in pain. I hope you are loping with your daughter in heaven. RIP chocolate zipper,” Cooper said in a statement on Sunday.
