It was a day for triple winners at the All American Quarter Horse Congress on Tuesday, as several exhibitors earned their third championship of the show.

Aaron Moses became a triple Congress champion when he rode For One Night Only to win the Limited division of the Two Year Old Open Western Pleasure Futurity on Tuesday. The pair were the unanimous choice of the judges. Earlier in the show, Moses won both the $10,000 Limited Horse Limited Rider Western Pleasure as well as the $10,000 Limited Horse Open Western Pleasure on Cool Lookin Machine.

“He showed even better today than he has all week,” said Moses. “He’s really just kept getting better as the year’s gone on. He’s always been good, and he’s just so laid back. Denton (DeBuhr) kept telling me all year how good he was.”

Moses, who is an assistant trainer for Gil Galyean, received high marks from his boss. “I’m really glad for Aaron,” Galyean said. “He and Denton both work very hard. They both do a great job and we’re lucky to have them both. In fact, Denton won this same class last year.”

Recently purchased by the Roberts family, For One Night Only, who is known as Sid, was a surprise present to Hillary Roberts.

“He’s been a super good surprise,” Roberts said. “He reminds me a lot of my youth mare, Candi, when she was a two year old. Aaron has done a great job training her.” Roberts won the Limited division of the Two Year Old Non-Pro Western Pleasure Stakes earlier this week. The bay stallion is by Invitation Only and out of Radical Zippette, by Radical Rodder.
