Our Condolences on the Passing of The Katwoman

Our condolences go out to James and Doris Collier and Andrew, Lori and Cheyenne Augsburger on the passing of the great HUS show mare and broodmare, The Katwoman. 

A 1994 bay mare, The Katwoman was a winner in the show pen, with 176 Open and 431 Amateur points and $19,283 AQHA Incentive Fund dollars earned, along with many Open and Amateur top ten finishes.

The Katwoman’s offspring is even more impressive, with 1856 All-time points, $2219 in AQHA World Championship earnings and $45,953 in NSBA earnings, and many top performing foals, including:  Hes A Natural Kat (multiple European Championship Top 3 winner and World Show performer) One Hot Kat (Reserve World Champion) One Hot Katwoman (Congress Top 3), Miss Kat Tails (currently breeding with point-earning foals and a Congress Top 3), and The Kat Tails (2012 Youth AQHA Champion, Congress Top 3, and multiple World Show qualifier), The Krymsun Kat, Kats Krymun Star, and Hot Kattitude.

According to Lori Augsburger, “I will remember her legacy for sure, and what she has produced in the industry.”

We agree, Lori, and her legacy definitely lives on as One Hot Kat, One Hot Katwoman and Hot Kattitude are all hitting the road tomorrow for the summer trip with Pinetree Quarter Horses.
