2014 Tom Powers Triple Challenge Futurity Sale Held Saturday June 28
With 88 horses coming through, the 2014 Tom Powers Sale was larger than last year’s, and even more successful. A highlight of the sale was Hesa Lazy Cookie, consigned by Kathie Kennedy, selling for $74,000 to Frank Berris. A sorrel yearling colt by No Doubt Im Lazy and out of Shesa Cookie Leaguer, a daughter of Cookie Leaguer. This horse is nominated to the AQHA Incentive Fund and NSBA Breeders Championship Futurity. A Midnight Potion, a black filly by Certain Potential and out of Radically Fired Up, consigned by Knapp Quarter Horse Farms, LLC, sold for $60,000. This filly is nominated to the AQHA Incentive Fund, NSBA Breeders Championship Futurity and the Tom Powers Futurity.
