AQHA announces a new award for eligible competitors at the 2012 Adequan Select World Championship Show.
The American Quarter Horse Journal, May 22, 2012 – The American Quarter Horse Association will recognize the top three 70-&-over competitors in every class at the 2012 Adequan Select World Championship Show.
The top three 70-&-over competitors at the Adequan Select World, August 24 – September 1 in Amarillo, will receive an AQHA Super-Select award, designed by AQHA’s new trophy company, Awards Recognition Concepts. This achievement will also appear on the official records of the horses and exhibitors.
“Recognizing our Super-Select exhibitors is a great way to shine the spotlight on exhibitors who have worked hard to qualify for the world show, and are tough competitors at the Adequan Select World,” said AQHA President Gene Graves of Grand Island, Nebraska.
“Also, AQHA will once again recognize the Intermediate awards, which are awarded to the top-three Intermediate riders in every class,” Graves added.
The qualifying period for the Adequan Select World ends May 31, and qualifiers must enter the event by August 1.
