Over $14,000 Raised in Benefit Auction for Susan Clayton

On Monday, March 26, Professional Auction Services, Cathy and Stephanie Jennings, Jane Backes and Allysn Light, hosted an online benefit auction for Susan Clayton, longtime AQHA Hunter Under Saddle breeder, and horsewoman, and personal friend to many who frequent the PleasureHorse Forum. On February 18, Susan was in a riding accident, and sustained a traumatic brain injury, among other injuries.

Susan’s “horse family” came together and helped organize this auction. Many items were generously donated, and bidding was extremely active. The final tally for the auction was a whopping $14,331.00!!!

A big Thank You to all the people who donated items, and to everyone who bid, and bought from the sale. Your support was greatly appreciated.

Susan has now been moved to a rehabilitation facility near Raleigh, NC. She is showing marked improvement, but, still has a long road ahead of her. She will still need the help of her many friends in the horse business. Those who wish, may send further donations to this address:
