As Much Fun to Ride as He Is BIG! Indian Artbeat Standing at Stud
Gary and Marie Hoffman own and manage On Eagles Wings Equine Center LLC, in Kirkland IL. In addition to boarding, they breed sport type Quarter Horses. The center of their program is their AQHA stallion Indian Artbeat. He is homozygous black and stands an honest 17.2H. “He is as much fun to ride as he is big, truly a Gentle Giant.”
He earned his ROM in HUS with points in Hunter Hack and over fences. Marie loves the sport of Dressage and took Indian Artbeat to the top in 2010. He earned his superior in Dressage, earning 71 points. At year end was 1st (training level), 3rd (first level) with AQHA and 7th in the nation (first level) with USEF against all breeds, proving that a good hunt type horse can do well in Dressage even with a rookie rider.
Eagles Wings Equine Center raises and sells foals out of proven blood lines. The foundation mare of their broodmares has six AQHA point earners earning over 700 points. Her last colt (born when she was 25), just ended 2011–first in the nation with his youth rider in both working hunter and Equitation Over Fences. Most of Gary and Marie’s broodmares are either daughters or granddaughters of this mare. This line is long lived, sound, with excellent looks, movement and character and prove to be a great cross with Indian Artbeat. Artbeat’s dam and sire are both Superior and Champion producers. These foals are bred to do well on the flat, over fences and in Dressage!
