Cooper Quarter Horses
Cooper Quarter Horses is the Southeast’s premier breeding and embryo transfer facility and is home to the winners of tomorrow’s show ring. Our yearlings and weanlings are all top class, with the athletic performance, bloodlines, and disposition you want in your next showhorse.
Our breeding facility houses a state of the art laboratory that specializes in semen collection, artificial insemination, semen freezing and embryo transfers. We are a USDA approved importer and exporter of frozen semen to diversify the blood in your breeding program.
Situated on 560 acres in the picturesque Northeast Georgia foothills, Cooper Quarter Horses and Stallion Station has spacious pastures, private paddocks, climate controlled show barns, conference room, and full bath with laundry area. The breeding portion of the farm consists of a 46 stall heated breeding barn with foaling stalls, a separate mare barn used to house open and special care mares, and 2 state-of-the art labs. Farm owned mares are kept in individual private paddocks where they receive grain and alfalfa hay twice daily. All 25 private paddocks are sown with Bermuda grass to allow for the mares to be housed outdoors until they foal. The expansive 560 acres allow for the horses to have access to 10 spacious pastures of rolling hills, creeks, and wooded areas for shade in the hot summers. The “back 40” houses 36 draft mares, hand selected for disposition and personality, for the selective embryo transfer program. Visitors are welcome anytime at Camelot Stallion & Embryo Transfer Station.
