Congress Hunt Seat Longe Line Winners

Misko Quarter Horses would like to thank the All American Quarter Horse Congress and their judges for placing “Words Escape Me” as the 2011 Congress Champion in the Hunt Seat Longe Line class with Kat Zelnio on October 15, 2011. We would also like to thank the judges for placing Erin Heckaman and “Pretty In Hot Pink” to their 4th place win.  Pretty In Hot Pink had shown and tied for the World Championship with Russ Smith in August at the NSBA World Championship Show.

Pretty In Hot Pink may be seen at Steve and Erin Heckaman’s stalls in the Gilligan during the Congress. Pinky is available for sale and would be outstanding for next year’s early Futurity classes, especially for the Non-Pro classes due to her outstanding mind and quiet personality. She is by Hot N Blazing and out of the gorgeous, Reserve World Champion mare, Art I Pretty. Pinky is presently 16’1″ and measures to be 17″ just like her dam for next year.

We hope to prepare Words Escape Me for next year’s Masters’ Hunt Seat class with Kat Zelnio in the irons. Words Escape Me is by The Only Escape and out of the Thoroughbred mare, Prepstress. She is presently 16’2″ and the Congress was her first time in the pen. She was bred and raised in Ohio by Carol Roth. “Words Escape Me” was prepared by Andy Crist Show Horses and then shown by Kat Zelnio.

I would like to thank Russ Smith and Erin Heckaman for their team work in preparing and showing Pretty In Hot Pink! I would also like to thank Kat Zelnio, Andy and Megan Crist, and Madison Hallas for their teamwork in preparing and showing Words Escape Me!
