Entry Deadline for World Show SALEBRATION Extended to September 1
August 22, 2011, Berryville, Virginia
Professional Auction Services, Inc. announces the entry deadline for the World Show Sale will be extended to September 1, 2011.
There is still time to enter your horses to sell in the proven marketplace held with the AQHA World Championship Show. The 2010 World Show Sale posted significant gains over the 2009 Sale, proving that good horses sell very well at this sale.
“The horse market is looking stronger going into the Fall,” says Mike Jennings, President of Professional Auction Services, Inc. “The four auctions we produced in July and August were considerably stronger than the same sales last year, with bigger crowds and more bidder activity.”
In 2010 Western Pleasure Yearlings averaged $10,846. The average was up 89% and the median price was up 64%. The 2010 World Show Sale had the highest average price and the highest completed sales rate of any major yearling auction.
The 2011 AQHA World Show Sale is offering a NEW SESSION WITH PREMIUM PRESENTATION TO ALL PLEASURE AND HALTER HORSE SELLERS, in addition to the standard sessions. The “World Salebration” session will build on the success of this session last year, which boasted an average sale price of $12,456.
The NEW “World Salebration” Sessions are OPEN TO ALL SELLERS for Pleasure and Halter Horses. These sessions will give you the opportunity to provide your Best horses with a Premium Presentation that will help them bring top dollar for you. Each horse will be featured on 2 Full Color Pages in the “main” World Sale catalog, with one color page for the pedigree plus one full page for a color photo or extra information on your horse. If the number of Salebration entries is sufficient the sessions will be offered on both days. World Salebration horses will receive Priority Advertising. The Consignment Fee will be $750, which includes the $75 fee for World Sale Bonus plan.
The World Show Sale will offer the standard format sessions for Working Horses, Pleasure horses and Halter horses. The Consignment Fee for those sessions remains at $575, which includes $75 fee for World Sale Bonus Plan.
The sale commission and no sale commission remain at the same rate. However, there is a NEW Lower maximum limit of $500 for no sales.
Back for 2011 are the Breeders & Trainers Highlight Promotional Packages. Sellers with large consignments can get more promotion for their money. These packages are available in all sessions for consignments of ten (10) or more horses from the same consignor or breeder. These groups will be featured separately in ads, previews and emails. Consignors have the option to sell all of their horses consecutively. They may put part of the group in the World Salebration session and part of the group in the standard session. We can link to the link to the consignor’s website for additional exposure.
The World Sale Bonus Plan now pays to the seller an award of 20% of what a horse earns in the Plan. Horses that have sold through the World Show Sale and place in the Top Ten at the FedEx Open World Show, the Bank Of America Amateur World Show and NOW the Adequan Select World Show are eligible for Cash Awards.
The Entry Deadline is now September 1, 2011. Entry forms and information are available at www.professionalauction.com or by contacting Professional Auction Services, Inc. at 800-240-7900, fax 540-955-0881 or email [email protected]
