AQHA Stallion – Dont Forget To Zip – Euthanized June 2

Dont Forget To Zip, a 1988 son of the legendary sire, Zippo Pine Bar, was put down on Thursday, June 2nd after a lengthy battle with laminitis.  At the time of his death he was owned by Trudy J. Smith and her husband, Drew Smith, of Sweetbriar Farm in Liberty, NC.

He was the sire of Multiple Futurity Winners, Top Ten and Top Five Congress Champions, Multiple AQHA Point Earners, NSBA Money Winners and was an APHA approved sire.

Don’t Forget to Zip was most noted for his extremely kind and gentle demeanor and unusual dark chestnut color. He will always be remembered by those who knew him.
