A Horse’s Best Friend

This is a picture of unconditional love between a dog and an American Quarter Horse. Bennie is an adopted pit bull who has proven over and over again to not only be my best friend, but my horses’ as well. Areyoulonesometonite, aka “Elvis” passed away in 2008. This picture was taken two months before I lost my show partner and friend. Bennie and Elvis always had licks and kisses for one another. Since the passing of Elvis, Bennie has befriended my new horse and is starting to develop that same bond with him.
