“So very, very SAD…my condolences. Loss of a great, great sire…just devastating to the industry.”
“I will always have visual memories of Mac when I worked for John and Kim – he was just four then…I still see him doing his best to put on a grumpy face when I would entered his stall, but it was all bluff….he was a sweetheart! He was such a good boy. Condolences to owners and to everyone that knew Mac….so sorry to hear this…..”
I am so saddened by the loss of a great sire. However, I am very interested in knowing if there is still frozen semen available.
I was fortunate to breed to A Good Machine this year and have 3 topnotch bred mares in foal to him. What a terrible loss for the industry! Barb Green Co Bluffs, IA
Kim and the Good Machine family, I had the pleasure of purchasing a mare by “Mac” in January and she produced a beautiful filly for us at the end of January. The loss of “Mac” is a terrible loss for the industry, hopefully his legacy will live on in his great get like our mare Shesdelightfullygood.
To the Good Machine Family – we are so sorry for your loss. My mare, Hot Lopin Louise’s first foal was by A Good Machine and won the Reichert $100,000 last year. I am so thankful that I have a AGM colt this year and have two recip mares carrying fulls as well. Please know you are in our thoughts
I was just reading the AQHJ and noticed horses that have passed this year and saw A Good Machine. I am so sad to have read this and that I didn’t hear of this earlier. I was very greatful to Kim for helping me to breed my mare to him. If I had any questions or concerns she was there to help. Harley is now two and looks so much like his dad. Hopefully someone will buy him and maybe he can be a winning Good Machine.
I have A Good Machine daughter. She is 16 hands and I trail ride her. Would not sell her for anything. Lots of heart.
